So incase you havent noticed i am a huge movie buff and well i probably watch to many movies for my own good haha. however it gives me a little edge on certain things so anyways. here are acouple movies i recently watched and what i thought of them

Jumper
Yes it was a popular movie  and had some mixed reviews but i happened to like it. was a good action movie and i think most people will enjoy it. I sure did. ya ya i know it was in theaters for awhile but i dont have to much time to go to theaters so i end up renting or buying movie  and watching them when i get the chance. but i happened to like jumper. it was a nice story line and some good action.

Feast of Love
Now i dont think this was a big of name as jumper or some other movies. of course this movie wasnt an action film. It was more of a Romantic Drama? It was a great movie though. Not necessarily a date movie. however it still is a good movie to rent with your loved one and just sit there and watch. So i recommend that anyone and everyone should watch this movie, whether by yourself or with someone else or with your family. its a good movie. check it out!

Whirly Girl
ok now this movie is  probably a “b” or possibly “c” movie. meaning its not a blockbuster and i doubt it was in theaters. its kind of a romantic comedy? there really isnt any big named actors or actresses in it which is nice to see for a change. I mean you cant see all movies with big named people in them. but it had a great romantic story line. Not the best date movie but still none the less a good one i think.  All in all its a great movie.

The Darjeeling Limited
ok seriously… who has seen this movie? To me it was so slow… Personally i did not like this movie at all! i got through about 40-45 minutes of it before i got tired of it! this movie was almost as bad as Miami vice… If you actually liked this movie than either there is something i completely missed or you like some strange movies. unlike the other movies i listed I recommend you dont rent or watch this movie.

Semi-Pro
So semi-pro is pretty much a comedy based on a true story. Incase you didnt know there was a semi pro basketball league and thats how some teams made it into the NBA.  I rented this movie the other day and watched it and it was actually really funny. Now some of will ferrells movies arent the greatest or they were just ok in my eyes. He is a really funny guy and i loved him on SNL. I really liked this movie. if you want a good laugh and a good movie to watch rent this one, its really good.

27 Dresses
Know i dont know if i bloged about this movie before but i rented this one alittle bit ago and it turned out to be better than i expected. to me it seemed like a romantic comedy. If you dont know what its about Google search it and read the plot but it turned out to be really funny in some parts and also a good romantic movie. I wouldnt put this one in the top 5 or maybe the top 10 romantic comedies, but come on there are some really great ones, but its pretty close. its a great movie and you should watch it.

or just need a movie to sit at home and watch with your girlfriend or loved one?

Incase you havent talked to me or read some of my blogs, I am kind of a movie buff. Also known as  I watch a crap load of movies. This time we are talking about one movie in particular i suggest you go out and watch. Either Rent, Buy it at a store or Buy it online ( iTunes does digital).

I highly suggest seeing  ” Dan in real life”.  I personally would consider it a “chick” flick. in other words not normally what a guy would see on his own or with his buddies haha. Why would I suggest such a movie and why would you listen to me?

I will tell you why… I am suggesting this movie because it has the main elements in making the movie  a good one to see with someone you love or care about.  It has comedy, a lot of places where you will just laugh a lot, but the main part is has a great story line of romance that any one will love. Like most comedy romances there is always some type of heart break in the movie, yes this one has it too.. sorry to burst your bubble.. I dont want to spoil it all so i will move on..

So why should you listen to me? Well thats your choice if you want to or not. However i kind of see myself like i know what i am doing. A lot of people come to me for advice on relationships and love.  I am no therapist or anything like that but I always seem to know what will work and what to say or do.  I don’t want to toot my own horn so I will stop there. However  I do suggest taking my advice every now and than on movies. Im pretty good at it

So all in all I suggest you see this movie.  Its a good one

So when it comes to relationships I seem to be asked all the questions of why, when, how and all that fun stuff. Maybe its because i understand women a little better than some other people, maybe its because I have been in a relationship with the same loving girlfriend for the past 8 years. Whatever it is I seem to have both genders male and female ask me for relationship advice and just advice on the opposite sex.

So I figured what better than to blog about some of it for people to read about what to do and what not to do! Yes I have done a lot of things wrongs, but I have also done far more right, and if you have done it right than you know every other thing is wrong haha.

So lets start with something everyone can relate to….

MOVIES!

So guys you think you know the perfect movie to watch with your girlfriend or just some girl you like and want to take out or rent a video. I can guarantee you are about 75% wrong on your movie choice! I give you a 25% right because there are just some classics that never go wrong or you cant fail with, but guess what you can’t watch the same movies over and over even if it is with the same girl or a different girl. Trust me I have tried it and now i pretty much don’t ever want to see that movie again. Its like when radio stations over play all newest songs every 20 minutes. After a month you can’t stand the song.

Music is a whole other blog post though and we will get to that later. So why do I say that you will pick the wrong movie? Mainly because men and women have different tastes. Most men love action/ adventure! Blood, death, things blowing up! Awesome I love those movies! Lets get back on track…

Well women, although they do like action/adventure and all that they tend like more of romantic or comedy type movie. So don’t ask, ” Should I get one of those types of movies?” HAHAHA… That i can not tell you.. That is something you have to figure out.

DON’T FRET!

I will give you some advice on how to read your girlfriend or boyfriend or the girl/boy you like and give you some movies that I personally think are some of the best date movies you can watch. So Coming in some up coming Blog posts I will give you some more advice. Till than feel free to post comments or suggestions or opinions!

That kids happen to like more of that their parents like to watch or listen to than they lead on. This is an observation that I have been noticing more and more. A little more background on me is that I currently work for an Entertainment company. With that being said we can go on with what I was saying.

Working at an Entertainment company and being one of the DJs for them I end up doing a lot of school dances and working a lot jobs with a wide age range. You begin to notice a lot of teenagers and kids  do like a lot of the newer music that is out however they often request older music that their parents like or listen to in the car.  Music from the early 90’s,  rock from the 80’s and even disco.

Parents say that kids never listen or pick up to much on what they do, yet if you look the kids see everything and pick up on every little detail. What music did your parents listen to in the car while you all were driving? for me it was 70’s to today, so I like a wide range of music. A lot of other people do to, for instance there have been several times where the kids/teenagers have told me that  their parents listen to this certain station and they like that type of music.

The same kind of goes for movies… most families tend to watch the same TV shows, the same type of movies, sure there will always be some differences but most of the time the family likes to watch the same thing. Of course genders will always play a role in what they like and don’t like and  genders tend to stick together in what they like. The men of the family will tend to like more action/adventure type movies then romantic type movies the women will tend to like.  Of course there is always cross over in movie types like romantic comedies that everyone might like or  fantasy romantic adventure movies.

In later posts I will give my point of view on some of the movies I have seen and liked and not liked. Along with  showing some of the male  gender what are some great date movies that will help you win over the heart of the one you love!

Personally I will watch almost anything. I try to watch a wide range of movies to be well versed in a lot. sometimes I disagree with some movie critics on if the movie is good or not, that is why you should not see a movie just because they don’t like it.

Well some people have heard about this and others have not. It have been about for about a year or two it has been out. The thing I am talking about is the Apple TV.

Now dont get me wrong Apple isn’t to bad, a little high priced for my taste but i thought this was priced fairly well for what it can all do. So can this product all do? Good question!

I am a huge movie and music buff. Sure I have a subscription to Netflix and i get movies that way, but sometimes i want to watch newer movies that just come out or have recently come out and I don’t want to buy it just yet, and Netflix seems to be lacking on what it has to view online, not to mention its lack of browser support other than IE.. but that is for a whole other post.

So if I want I can surf iTunes movies and decide hey! I feel like watching this movie tonight or today! Its really nice and easy to use that way. Not only does it do movies great it has a lot of other cool features too.

for instance you can load your pictures on there and view them in a slide show on your TV or you can also decide to surf youtube right on your TV too.

Now i decided to spend another $100 to get the nice 160gb version, since with all the movies and music i watch and listen too i need the space, and the 40gb would just not cut it. So if you are looking for a new toy and want to be ahead of the game for one i suggest this!
